Digipack idea 3

Again, this digipack would have the same themes as the music video, with the dark, mysterious vibes. As for the website, it'd include some of the same images as the album cover and the same theme, showcasing the artist and their music/merch to fit with Richard dyer's star theory.

Halsey's website is cool and quite sleek, with all of her social media, merch and music links. I like the contrast of darkness and bright colour, which I think may fit this campaign too.

Harry Styles's website is also cool and sleek, with every link available on the first page. I like the fact that his video plays as soon as you go on the page

I'd quite like the album cover to involve the singer with a snake - similar to the photos below but darker - so it'd fit with the look of the video.

Digipack idea 2

This album cover would run with the looks of the music video, and so would the website (which would include merch, tour dates, social media, the album itself etc.). The colours would stay bright, but would involve quite a bit of black too, to get the retro neon vibe. The artist herself would be the main feature of both the album cover and the website, to showcase her, and so the audience knows who they're listening to.

Although Miley Cyrus's website is quite plain, it gets the point across very quickly, with the dates of her album release at the top of the screen. Links to streaming sites and social media are on the bottom.

Katy Perry's website is more suited to what I'd like to do in terms of layout and design, but would be more related to the video style-wise.

Digipack idea 1

This digipack idea is togo with music video idea 1.

The website would match the album cover, with the same colour scheme and some of the same images. It'd feature tour dates and merch, and I'd aim to have a few small photoshoots with the 'band' to create fake social media accounts like instagram that can be displayed or linked to on the website.

Lower Than Atlantis's website has the main components of an artist's website, with clear branding and marketing of their music. It features the music video, their logo, merch, and their newsletter all on one page. This is the kind of thing I'd like for this music video / digipack idea.

Similarly, All Time Low has their album art as the first thing you see, and has links to the tour, merch, music and videos, so is easy to navigate and looks good too. The only issue is that it doesn't showcase the band themselves, but this is because they're already established.

Album cover:

The band's star image would be rebellious and cheeky, as well as cool and mysterious. The album cover would feature the band to introduce them to the audience and portray their image. To get this across I'd use a dark colour scheme, and would probably follow the theme of the music video with them in front of the line up, dressed in black.

Music video idea 3

This music video involves snakes and black magic/fortune telling. It'll have quite a dark and mysterious vibe, with the singer wearing black and lots of jewellery. It can be done in the studio (maybe parts of it in the woods), and snakes or other reptiles can be hired from nearby handlers. It'd be performance based, with different elements to it.
